Community guidelines
The shared rules of the road for everyone on Mingoal. Short version: be a good neighbor.
1. Be respectful
Disagreement is fine. Cruelty isn't. Talk to people the way you'd want to be talked to in a room full of strangers you might see again.
2. Inclusivity is the baseline
Clubs are for everyone who shows up in good faith. No discrimination based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, ability, or background. Organizers can set additional rules for their own clubs, but they can't set rules that exclude people on these grounds.
3. Be honest about your events
Description, location, time, ticket price — make them accurate. If something changes, update it. People are putting their Saturdays in your hands; don't waste them.
4. No spam, no scams
Don't use Mingoal to push unrelated products, run pyramid schemes, harvest emails, or drive people to sketchy off-platform offers. We'll remove accounts that do.
5. Keep it legal
Whatever's illegal where your club meets is also against our rules. Don't organize around anything that puts members at legal risk.
6. Protect member privacy
Don't share another member's contact info, real name, photos, or personal details outside the club without their permission. Especially not online.
7. No harassment
Repeated unwanted contact, sexual advances after someone says no, and targeted attacks all get you removed — from the club and from the platform. We err on the side of protecting the person being targeted.
8. Show up
If you RSVP, try to come. If you can't make it, cancel. Organizers can invite no-shows to leave repeat offenders out — that's their call, not a punishment we hand down.
9. Organizers are accountable
If you run a club, you're responsible for what happens inside it. Set the tone, enforce the rules, and reach out to safety@mingoal.com when something is bigger than you can handle alone.
10. When in doubt, ask
Not sure if something crosses a line? Email us at safety@mingoal.com and we'll help you think it through. We'd rather have the conversation early than clean up the fallout later.
How we enforce these
We follow up on every report. Depending on what happened, we may warn the person, remove specific content, suspend the account, or remove them from the platform entirely. Repeat offenders are removed without warning. Organizers always have the final say inside their own clubs and can remove members at any time.
